David Levine

Bio: David provides financial, strategic, and operational solutions to venture capital and private equity backed start-up companies in a diverse group of industries. His industry experience has included companies in agtech (alt protein), cleantech (batteries, EV, HVAC, energy storage, and wastewater treatment) digital health (VR), media, enterprise software, medical devices, and wireless (smart grid & broadband). He is also an Entrepreneur in Residence with NYSERDA (NYS Energy and Research Development Authority). Prior to consulting, David held key roles such as CFO of a smart grid network provider, president of an Israeli technology company, Controller of an investor-owned utility’s telecom subsidiary and SVP – Finance of an interactive digital media company. Besides mentoring in the Cleantech Open-Northeast, David has participated in programs such as NextCorps’ Venture for Climate Tech, Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute’s – Runway Startup Postdoc program, Powerbridge-NY, NYC ACRE, and Columbia University’s Hacking for Energy program. He also participates in the Philadelphia Angel Venture Fair program. David is a licensed CPA and holds an MBA.
